View instructor trainingInstructor recertification
AHA instructors are required to recertify every two years to maintain their active teaching status. Below are the key requirements you'll need to fulfill:
- Teach a minimum of 4 classes during your certification period
- Each class must have at least 3 participants
- Submit a new AHA Instructor Application & Agreement form
- Alternatively, recertify by attending an AHA instructor conference or instructor update class
